Harvest Festival (Sep 6-13)

Harvest Festival is a small celebration to honor the fallen heroes of the Horde and Alliance. This event runs from September 6 through September 13 and can be celebrated outside of Orgrimmar or Ironforge.

Festival Foods

Festive tables loaded with food can be found outside of Orgrimmar and Ironforge, from which players can have their fill of food and drink as they celebrate the memory of their faction’s fallen champions. You can hold up to 20 of each of these foods, and they do not expire (though I’m not sure that keeping fish in your inventory for a few months is a very good idea)!

Honoring a Hero

There is only one short quest chain available during the Harvest Festival, with both Horde and Alliance versions. For this quest, you are sent to show respect to one of your faction’s most honored heroes – Grom Hellscream for members of the Horde and Uther Lightbringer for members of the Alliance.

Grom’s Tribute and sent to Grom’s Monument in the Demon Fall Canyon of Ashenvale to offer gifts in tribute to the memory of Grom Hellscream. Upon returning the quest, players will receive

The Horde’s Hellscream, a book with a written tribute to the fallen hero.

Honoring a Hero (Alliance)
Start & End: Wagner Hammerstrike
For this quest, Alliance players are given

Uther’s Tribute and sent to Uther’s Tomb in Western Plaguelands to offer gifts in tribute to the memory of Uther Lightbringer. Upon returning the quest, players will receive

For the Light!, a book with a written tribute to the fallen hero.

You will receive a Bounty of the Harvest by mail a few days after completing this quest.

New to 2015, completing this quest give you the choice of 3 of the following: Vengeful Spiritshard, Forlorn Spiritshard, Anxious Spiritshard, Peaceful Spiritshard. These give your character a neon tint.
