Why hello there.
I’m Anexxia Sparklebutton, G4’s resident shadow priest and our Bank Manager. For those of you who are wondering why we require a Bank Manager, I will be with you in just a moment.
There are a few things to know about me:
- I come from a long line of family tailors. I’ve been crafting and sewing ever since I decided my dolls needed new clothes when I was but a wee gnome.
- My family has intermarried with the Night Elves. As such, you may have occasion to meet my cousin Psychocandy. Please note that she prefers to be called “Candy,” and I prefer not to hear any mean-talk about Night Elves. We gnomes have endured entirely enough bad-mouthing ourselves, and I simply do not have the patience for hearing any of it. Period. Which brings me to…
- As a shadow priest, I have fully embraced the shadow. I am always in shadow form. I do not now have nor have I ever had a specialization that is not a shadow specialization. Further, the Dark Lady watches over me. I realize in these trying times that it is an unpopular opinion to be a supporter of the Dark Lady, but as she has also been one of the few to embrace the shadow and not fear the shadow, I shall not abandon her in this time of need.
As the guild’s Bank Manager, I help ensure that our bank tabs are kept tidy and organized. I also make sure we have enough current trade skill materials to encourage our members to maximize their crafting skills, and to keep our raiders well-stocked and happy. There was a dark time—before I took on this assignment—when the tabs were given over to chaos. People willy-nilly placed herbs next to cloth in single stacks and unloaded unsold crafted gear by the baskets full. It was anarchy! But now, we keep things tidy. And when we have an overstock on an item, I send it to our outsourced storage service for safe-keeping. And at the end of an expansion, I do some house-cleaning, getting rid of excess materials the group has not used over the course of the expansion, and purchasing items to help the leveling to come.
